With VICOS, you work in Denmark under the same principles and protections as local employees.
Assignments typically range from short-term projects (around 2 months) to longer assignments (up to 2 years).
Many roles also include Try & Hire, where permanent employment may be offered.
Salary, Pension & Working Conditions
According to the collective agreement with Danish Industry
Your employment includes:
- Hourly wage according to the collective agreement
- Pension contribution (13% total):
- 11% paid by the employer
- 2% paid by the employee
- Holiday pay: 12.5%
- Free Choice Account (Fritvalg): 13%
(including Special Holiday Allowance / SH) - Overtime pay according to collective agreement rates
- Evening, night, and weekend supplements, where applicable
Important
All of the above are:
- Paid on top of your hourly wage
- Clearly shown on your payslip
- Handled by VICOS as your employer
Pension, holiday pay, and supplements are never included in the hourly rate.

Who can apply for jobs through VICOS?
We primarily recruit EU citizens or candidates with a valid Danish work permit.
We are not able to sponsor work permits for non-EU citizens.
Who is my employer when I work through VICOS?
VICOS is your employer throughout the assignment.
Your contract, salary, pension, and rights are handled by VICOS under Danish law.
What is the Danish Temporary Agency Work Act?
It ensures equal pay and equal working conditions for agency workers compared to similar employees at the client company.
What if I experience problems at the workplace?
You can always contact VICOS.
We handle the dialogue with the client and help ensure fair treatment.
Do you provide workwear and safety equipment?
Yes. VICOS provides a workwear allowance of DKK 700 four times per year
(2,800 DKK per year) for workwear and safety shoes.
Is housing included?
VICOS can arrange accommodation in single rooms for certain projects.
Housing details are always clarified before you accept a job.
Is there a possibility of permanent employment?
Yes. Some assignments offer permanent employment through a Try & Hire model.
